NEW ULM — St. Paul’s Lutheran School sent two math teams to Math Mania, a competition hosted by South Central Service Co-Op in Mankato earlier this month.

Of the 11 teams at the event, St. Paul’s teams finished in first and second place by a wide margin.

Isaiah Carlovsky, Isaiah Rogotzke, and Bethany Spike finished in a tie for second place individually.

Most of the other team members also finished in the top 20 individually.

The first place team included Zach Riederer, Isaiah Rogotzke, Eric Smith, Isaiah Carlovsky, and Gavin Schaefer. The second place team included Bethany Spike, Meaghan Martin, Dora Grubbs, Estrella Strackbein, and Mercy Dobberpuhl.
