New Year, New Grand

Anne Makepeace, executive director of The Grand Center for Arts and Culture, points at the organization’s logo printed on paper by the building’s new printing press Thursday. The printing press is one of The Grand’s newest additions while undergoing renovations.
The music performance stage within The Grand Center for Arts and Culture was moved to a new location as part of extensive renovations to the building Thursday. The Grand will reopen on Jan. 18 and will feature new decorations, artistic programs and works by area artists.
