WINDOM — Courtney Christensen, 18, of Lamberton, died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Cottonwood County Roads 4 and 22, Dale Township, reported at 11:39 a.m. Thursday.

A 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Christensen was northbound on CR 4, when it was hit on the driver’s side by a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup driven by John Tibodeau, 77, Storden, who was eastbound on CR 22. Both vehicles entered the north east ditch where they came to a rest.

Both occupants in Tibodeau’s truck were transported to Windom Area Hospital. The crash is under investigation. Assisting agencies included Windom Police, Fire and Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.
