NEW ULM — To encourage shopping local, the New Ulm Business & Retail Association and the Small Business Owner’s Group are hosting the annual #ShopNewUlm at Night event on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m..

For this one-evening-only event, each of these Chamber member businesses will offer a special promotion: A to Zinnia Floral and Gifts (50 percent off Christmas ornaments and 25 percent off one regular priced item), the B & L Bar (buy one, get one for $.01), Bailey Creek Boutique (20 percent off storewide), the Chamber of Commerce (free New Ulm keychain with any New Ulm or Germans Have More Fun sweatshirt purchase), Concordia Lanes (receive a $5 gift card for every $25 gift card purchase, plus buy one, get one free appetizers), Gallery 512 ($5 off any purchase of $25 or more), Inspired (20 percent off storewide, plus free gift wrapping), the New Ulm Community Market (10 percent off all varieties of organic, fair trade, locally-roasted Beans Coffee Co.), Nicklasson Athletic (20 percent off storewide), No. 213 (25 percent off Christmas items, plus a door prize drawing), Patterson’s Diamond Center (20-50 percent off storewide), and Sewing Seeds Quilt Company (25 percent off storewide. Some exclusions apply).

In addition to these offers, the stores have put together a $300 prize package. Customers who stop at three or more of the participating businesses during the #ShopNewUlm at Night event will be entered for a chance to win. Stamp cards are available at any of the participating businesses or the Chamber of Commerce. Completed stamp cards can be returned to any of the businesses or the Chamber of Commerce office by 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13.
