With temperatures at nearly 90 degrees F and high humidity Thursday, New Ulm residents found these pools were the best way to beat the heat. Each of the wading pools had no less than a dozen little swimmers. Most stayed until the humidity broke and the rain began to fall. The wading pools are open daily from 12:30 p.m. to 6:3o p.m. and are open to children 8 years and under.
