LAMBERTON — Mark Arkell, 46, of Lamberton died Friday after being trapped in a grain bin.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Lamberton Fire Department and the Lamberton Ambulance responded to a call for a man trapped in a grain bin at 5:28 p.m. Upon arrival Arkell was completely submerged in grain.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Assisting at the scene were: the North Ambulance, North Air Care and the Sanborn Fire Department.
