NEW ULM — New Ulm High School hosted the Big South Conference Speech Tournament on Thursday, March 16 with 260 competitors.

Nick Schultz of New Ulm was named the Big South All-Conference Campion in Humorous Interpretation. Additional finalists included Bethany Janssen (5th place in Great Speeches), Emma Maudal (6th place in Humorous Interpretation), Jordan Rummell (6th place in Serious Drama), and Rachel Dauer (6th place in Storytelling).
