Hope & Faith Floral and Gifts is under new ownership, and the New Ulm Chamber Willkommen Committee stopped by to meet the new owner, Amy Schwab. Hope & Faith is a full service floral shop, located at 211 N. Minnesota St. in downtown New Ulm. Besides floral, the store carries a wide selection of gift items, home dcor, jewelry and wonderful homemade fudge. Amy has worked at Hope and Faith Floral for years, first as an employee in New Ulm, then at the Sleepy Eye location. When the previous manager left, Amy was offered the position of manager here in New Ulm, and when the owners decided to sell the business, Amy jumped at the chance to buy it and make it her own. She has owned the New Ulm and Sleepy Eye locations since July; the Madelia location is still owned by the previous owner. Hope & Faith will host an open house in New Ulm on Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 3-6 p.m., and at the Sleepy Eye store on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
