NOTICE OF INTENT
TO OPERATE AERA-
TION SYSTEM
Notice is hereby given
that Brown County in
conjunction with the
Minnesota Department
of Natural Resources
plan to operate a helix-
or aeration system
near the east shoreline
of Lake Hanska below
Fort Hill in Lake Hans-
ka County Park in Sec-
tion 33-T108N-R31W
in Lake Hanska Town-
ship of Brown County.
Operation of the sys-
tem will begin between
December 24th, 2025,
and February 28th,
2026, as the lake con-
ditions warrant.
Weather conditions
may cause the areas of
thin ice and open water
to fluctuate greatly.
STAY CLEAR OF THE
MARKED AREAS! The
marked area is restrict-
ed by Brown County
Ordinance 1993-04.
