NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
on
PROPOSED
PROPERTY TAX
ABATEMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY
GIVEN, that the City
Council of the City of
New Ulm, Brown
County, Minnesota, will
conduct a Public Hear-
ing on Tuesday, De-
cember 16, 2025 at
4:30 p.m. in the Coun-
cil Chambers located
in the New Ulm City
Hall, 100 North Broad-
way, New Ulm, Min-
nesota, relating to the
use of property tax
abatement and the ap-
proval of a Develop-
ment Agreement for
the purpose of funding
development costs as-
sociated with the M &
D Properties, LLC ren-
tal housing project,
pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Section
469.1812 to 469.1815,
inclusive, as amended.
The project involves
the construction of
14-units of attached
rental housing in two
sections.
The total amount of the
tax abatement shall not
exceed $164,251 and
will be provided over a
period of up to 10
years commencing in
the year 2028. The fol-
lowing tax parcel is
proposed to be includ-
ed in the property tax
abatement area:

The proposed property
tax abatement project
has a street address of
2229 North Highland
Avenue and is legally
described as Lot 9,
Block 7, Lakeside Vil-
lage Addition.
Copies of the Abate-
ment Resolution and
Development Agree-
ment proposed for
adoption will be on file
and available for public
inspection at the Office
of the City Manager in
the New Ulm City Hall.
All interested persons
in attendance will be
given an opportunity to
speak on this matter.
Written testimony may
also be submitted prior
to the meeting to:
