BROWN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Planning Commission, in and for the County of Brown, will conduct certain public hearings as follows:

Conditional Use Permit Application APP-C-0133

Application filed by Thomas Rose on property owned by Thomas Rose described as Outlot B of SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 Plat 201632, Section 7, Township 109 North, Range 30 West, Cottonwood Township, Brown County, Minnesota. Application is to renew an existing Conditional Use Permit to continue to allow the use of a Sign & Decal making business, all located in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District.

Preliminary Plat Application APP-P-0084

Application filed by Jack Forsberg on the property owned by Jack M. Forsberg Etal know as Forsberg First Addition, Lot 1 (3.65 acres), Lot 2 (16.68 Acres) and Lot 3 (30.02 acres) on the property described as Lot B of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4; and NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Section 5, Township 110 North, Range 31 West, all in Milford Township, Brown County, Minnesota. Application is to split the existing platted lot into 3 new platted lots, all located in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District.

Notice is further given that the above hearings will be held by the Brown County Planning Commission on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM in the Brown County Courthouse Room #204, New Ulm, Minnesota at which time you may appear if you so desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the proposed Plat or Conditional Use Permits. Hearings of these appeals are not limited to those receiving copies of this Notice, and if you know of any neighbor or affected property owner who, for any reason, has not received a copy, it would be appreciated if you would inform them of this public hearing. A copy of each proposed request is on file in the Brown County Planning & Zoning Office, Brown County courthouse, 14 South State Street, New Ulm, Minnesota, and may be viewed during regular business hours. If you have any concerns over the proposed use of the property, then please submit your input either in person or in writing to the Planning Commission.
