Ukraine to give revised peace plans to US as Kyiv readies for more talks with its coalition partners
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian officials are expected to present new peace proposals to U.S. negotiators Wednesday. Zelenskyy has expressed readiness to hold a presidential election within three months if safety and legal conditions are met. This follows comments from U.S. President Donald Trump that questioned Ukraine’s democracy. Meanwhile, military aid for Ukraine has declined, with European support uneven. The Kiel Institute reports a significant drop in aid this year compared to previous years.
