• Shawn Michael Chalupsky, 52, Gaylord, pled guilty Nov. 20 to felony 5th-degree possession of a controlled substance and 4th-degree DWI. The court stayed adjudication on the drug charge and ordered Chalupsky to serve five days in the Sibley County Jail, complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days and follow all recommendations, complete 40 hours Sentence to Service within 6 mos., attend a Victim Impact Panel, pay $500 within 90 days.

• A settlement conference was set Nov. 20 for 1 p.m. Feb. 19, 2026 for 3rd-degree possession of a controlled substance for Laurie Kay Gorman-Nolte, 62, Gibbon. If the matter is not resolved at the settlement conference, a trial by jury begins at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 24, 2026. She was released on previous conditions.

• A settlement conference was set Nov. 20 for 1 pm. Feb. 19, 2026 for gross misdemeanor domestic assault for Jeremy David Lone, 40, Gaylord. If the case is not settled Feb. 19, a trial by jury begins at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 24, 2026. Lone was released on previous conditions.

• Mark Alan Overson, 76, Gaylord, pled guilty Nov. 13 to three counts of possession of pornographic works involving minors. Nineteen other counts were dismissed. Overson was sentenced to 60 months in prison, beginning immediately.
