• Unconditional bail was set at $250,000 cash or bond Nov. 3 for Reid Duncan Edman, 67, New Auburn on charges alleging 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. He could be released on conditions that he not use or review sexually explicit or pornographic material and not have contact with minors unless supervised by an adult. An omnibus hearing was set for 1 p.m. Dec. 18.

• Alexander Carl Nipp, 28, Gibbon, plead guilty to two files alleging motor vehicle theft. Nov. 6 Adjudication was stayed on both files. He was placed on five years supervised probation for up to five years with conditions including 25 days in the Sibley County Jail, pay restitution as requested by victims, attend a comprehensive assessment within 30 days, diagnostic assessment within 60 days and follow all recommendations, successfully complete the Le Sueur/Sibley Treatment Court program.

• Andres Antonio Herrera Jr., 22, Fairfax, plead guilty to a charge alleging third-degree DWI Nov. 6. He was sentenced to 364 days in the Sibley County Jail, stayed for up to two years supervised probation, complete 28 days electronic home monitoring, complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days and pay a $985 fine.
