• Abraham Pedraza, 26, Winthrop, appeared for a July 28 bail hearing on charges alleging domestic assault by strangulation, first-degree damage to property, domestic assault, fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond. He may be released on his own recognizance subject to conditions that he take prescribed medication, not use or possess alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances, be subject to reasonable suspicion testing and trespassed from Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center. An omnibus hearing was set for 1 p.m. Sept. 4.

• The Court set unconditional bail at $1,000,000,000 cash or bond for Jose Omar Garcia-Cortes, 39, Mesa, Az. Friday on charges alleging six count of felony first-degree possession of a controlled substances across state borders. Conditional bail was set at $900,000. A court appearance was set for 9:45 a.m. Aug. 7.

• The Court set unconditional bail of $15,000 cash or bond for Stephanie Lauren Spencer, 43, North Mankato on charges alleging felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle. She could be released on her own recognizance with conditions. An omnibus hearing was set for 1 p.m. Sept. 28.
