• Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond July 16 for Ross Dean Kroells, 59, Green Isle, charges with distributing sexual images to a child by electronic means and engaging in sexual electronic communication with a child. Kroells could be released on his own recognizance, subject to conditions that he have no unsupervised in person contact with minors, no electronic contact with minors and comply with GPS monitoring. A Rule 8 hearing was set for 9 a.m. Aug. 15.

• Thomas Alan Bach, 56, Henderson, pleaded guilty to 4th-degree DWI July 16. The court sentenced him to 90 days in the Sibley County Jail, stayed for up to 1 year unsupervised probation. Conditions include a comprehensive assessment within 60 days, follow all recommendations, attend a victim impact panel and remain law abiding and follow all general probation conditions. He was fined $385 due within 90 days.
