Brown County District Court
• A felony 2nd-degree assault-dangerous weapon charge was filed June 16, 2023 against Heidi J. Anderson, 43, 10 W. Maple St. Springfield. According to court documents, Brown County Deputy Justin Bauer was on patrol, westbound on CR 27 near CR 11 when he saw an oncoming vehicle cross the center line and approach him at highway speeds. Deputy Bauer stopped the suspect vehicle and believed the driver to be Anderson due to recent contacts.
