Brown County District Court

• A man from Missouri picked up in Brown County for a separate charge in December was charged with being a fugitive from justice in Missouri. The charge was filed Jan. 18, 2023 against Scott A. Gosen, 53, no address. According to court documents, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office learned that Gosen is a fugitive from justice. Christian County, Mo. has active warrants for Gosen from court files for resisting arrest, a Class E felony on March 19, 2022 and possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony on or about Oct. 13, 2020. Christian County, Mo. issued warrants on both counts and is seeking extradition. Gosen was arrested Dec. 25, 2022 in New Ulm and taken into custody for a separate crime.
