Brown County District Court

• A third-degree felony drug charge was filed June 20 against Zacchary T. Anderson, 30, 2201 N. Broadway, New Ulm. He is also known as Zac Thomas Anderson, Zacch Anderson, Zacchary Anderson, Zachary Thomas Anderson and Zachhary Anderson. A court appearance was set for July 12.

According to court documents, a Brown Lincoln Redwood Renville Drug Task Force agent was contacted Feb. 17 by a confidential informant about purchasing methamphetamine from Anderson at an undisclosed location. It was confirmed between the informant and Anderson that the informant would stop at Anderson’s residence and make the transaction.

The informant was followed to the area of Anderson’s address. The informant said Anderson came from the bathroom and handed them a small container with methamphetamine in it. The informant gave Anderson $180 in task force buy funds for the “eight ball” and left the residence.

The agent tested the substance that showed a positive presumptive result for 2.2 grams of methamphetamine.
