Brown County District Court

• Gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI 0.08 or more and third-degree aggravated DWI charges were filed June 20 against Eric D. Franke, 47, 2526 S. Bridge St., New Ulm.

According to court documents, New Ulm Police responded to an area near the Green Mill restaurant at 11:21 p.m. June 17 due to a report from a Green Mill employee who said an intoxicated person got into his truck and drove away. The employee and officer identified the suspect as Franke.

Police located Franke at his residence standing next to a Dodge Ram truck. He admitted having a revoked driver’s license and driving home from the Green Mill restaurant. He performed field sobriety tests and displayed impairment clues. A preliminary breath test show a .269 breath alcohol content. Franke was arrested and transported to the law enforcement center.

He provided a test result of .26 grams per 210 liters at 12:07 a.m., within two hours of driving.
