Brown County

District Court

• Court documents were filed Wednesday against Xavier L. Heeder, 29, St. Cloud, including felony fifth-degree drug possession-not small amount of marijuana and petty misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court documents, Brown County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jason Fairbairn stopped a vehicle near the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and CR 12 just west of New Ulm at 11:11 a.m. Feb. 14 and soon requested assistance, stating a strong marijuana odor came from the vehicle and that he would search it.

A black roll of electrical tape and a rubber, elastic tourniquet were found on Heeder in addition to a partial zippered bag sticking above his belt and in his underwear. The substance in the bag was consistent with methamphetamine and tested positive for meth. Bauer also found a drug paraphernalia pipe with burnt residue inside.

A clear, plastic baggie was found contained 3.44 grams of a green, leafy substance that NIK-tested positive for marijuana; and 2.44 grams of a colorless, crystal-like substance that NIK-tested positive for meth.

A court hearing for Heeder was scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.
