• Elizabeth M. Krueger, 30, 20988 State Highway 15, New Ulm, was charged with gross misdemeanor 3rd-degree refusal to submit to chemical test, misdemeanor 4th-degree DWI, petty misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Friday. According to court documents, New Ulm Police responded to a crash near 5th South Street and Franklin Street at 9:05 p.m. March 6. Police found the vehicle, registered to Krueger, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, stuck in a snow bank at the intersection with no other vehicles involved.

Krueger displayed intoxication signs. Police found a bag with a substance later confirmed to be marijuana, measured at .8 grams and a small, metal pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana. Krueger admitted to drinking and being drunk. She submitted to a Preliminary Breath Test and failed. Krueger was arrested and later refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
