GFW board gives OK to search for new district leader

GIBBON — Consultant Jeff Bertrang reviewed the superintendent search process with the Gibbon Fairfax Winthrop (GFW) School Board Monday. Interim superintendent Kelly Smith said the school district is working with the South Central Services Cooperative (SCSC) of North Mankato as it has in previous years. SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye FFA students presented the Sleepy Eye School Board with a recap of the FFA National Convention Wednesday. The Sleepy Eye FFA was named a Three Star National Chapter, the highest ranking possible. It was cited for building communities and strengthening agriculture activities. NICOLLET -- The Nicollet Public School Board denied the Petition of Landowners for Detachment and Annexation from One School District to Another by a vote of 4-to-2 at their meeting on Wednesday.
