Fresh produce and fruit to be given out Sept. 13
Free produce, fruit and miscellaneous items will be distributed Tuesday, Sept. 13, by the New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf and Second Harvest Food Bank.
The distribution will be from 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1305 S. Valley St. in New Ulm, with signup beginning at 10 a.m.
The truckload of food will be delivered from Second Harvest the same day, so people who come to receive the food should not arrive more than 30 minutes before distribution. They should also bring their own bags or boxes.
The distribution will be done rain or shine and is open to anyone who needs food assistance.
