The New Ulm Recreation & Civic Centers are closed, effective Nov. 21 in accordance with Gov. Walz’s executive order. Fitness classes, programs, special events and facility rentals will be canceled or moved virtually until there is guidance from the state for safely reopening. No new facility rentals will be accepted at this time. Memberships will be extended the length of closure. The Community Center is closed to the general public, but available for private rentals with conditions.

Meals on Wheels and takeout meals are operating. Call 359-2243 for delivery or reserve a meal for pick up.

German Park Amphitheater Phase 1, the base structure is complete. Thank you to all past donors! Phase 2, the shade structure, along the top will be funded by the State of Minnesota through the 2020 bonding bill and completed in 2021. Fundraising continues for Phase 3, stage area improvements.
