TPT has partnered with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs to create a 30-minute Memorial Day program called “Always Remember: A Minnesota Tribute to Veterans we’ve lost.” The program will be broadcast across the state on TPT’s Minnesota Channel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 25. Peterson is the President of the Minnesota Association of County Veterans Services Officers (CVSO) and spoke of the origins of the CVSO program 75 years ago in conjunction with the end of World War II.
