2022 Nicollet County Pork Ambassador named

Just in time for the summer grilling season, the Nicollet County Pork Producers named Makayla Moline, daughter of Rob and Gail Moline of St. Peter, as its 2022 pork ambassador.

The pork ambassador will help promote pork and the local pork industry. Moline is involved in the Nicollet County 4-H program and is actively involved in the swine project. She is a graduate of St. Peter High School and plans to major in pre-veterinarian science at the University of Minnesota.

As a pork ambassador, Moline will serve as the goodwill representative for the pork industry doing appearances throughout the year promoting nutritious pork and the local industry.

The pork ambassador program is funded through the Nicollet County Pork Producer organization, which works to create demand for pork products and is funded by local hog farmers.

To schedule an ambassador appearance, contact Michele Schroeder, NCPP ambassador coordinator, at 507-276-4810.
