Candace Teigen and Matthew Mecklenburg

Candace Teigen and Matthew Mecklenburg announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Dave and Ruth Mecklenburg of Sleepy Eye, and Kevin and Sonja Teigen of Moorhead.

Candace is a graduate of Moorhead Senior High School State University-Moorhead, Anoka Ramsey Community College and Bethel University. Prior to her current position as a Critical Care Supervisor at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota, she was a travel RN with Cross Country TravCore.

Matt is a graduate of Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s High School, Central Lakes Community College, and North Dakota State University. He is a Land Steward and Burn Boss for The Nature Conservancy in northwestern Minnesota.

The couple has planned a Jan. 19, 2019, wedding at “The Barn at Dunvilla” near Pelican Rapids.
