The Saturday, June 6 article "New Ulm Area Foundation awards grant for river sampling program" incorrectly cited the origin of the Minnesota River. The article should read the Minnesota River starts as a tributary of the Mississippi, south of the Twin Cities, flowing southwest to Mankato and then northwest to Big Stone Lake on the Minnesota/South Dakota border.
