Gene Schreyer, 85, Mankato, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at home on hospice care. Gene was born January 6, 1938, to Roman and Irma (nee Fritsche) Schreyer, in New Ulm. The family moved to Mankato in 1948. Gene taught at Immanuel Lutheran High School in Mankato. Survived by wife Grace and children Juliana, Brent, and Christiana, along with in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces, and many friends.
