Nursing and health care career scholarships available from NUMC

NEW ULM— Applications are now being accepted for the New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC) scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. The scholarships are awarded to students who are currently pursuing their nursing degree, nurse practitioner/physician assistant degree or a degree in a health care related field. The Charlotte West Anderson Scholarshipwill be awarded to a student who resides in New Ulm or the surrounding area and is pursuing a degree in a health care field. •Adult Swim Lessons are offered Wednesdays Feb. 5 through April 2 in the Rec Center pool from 7 to 7:40 p.m. Learn basic swim strokes and improve swim skills.
