Detour for Highway 22 begins April 11

MANKATO – Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) announced Motorists traveling on Highway 22 from Mankato to St. Peter can expect a detour beginning Friday, April 11, weather permitting, as crews begin construction. Through traffic will be detoured to Highways 14 and 169 during construction. Access for all residents and businesses will be maintained during construction. 77 Minnesota Century Farms Honored in 2025

ST. PAUL — The Minnesota State Fair and the Minnesota Farm Bureau recognize 77 Minnesota farms as 2025 Century Farms. Qualifying farms have been in continuous family ownership for at least 100 years and are 50 acres or more. Century Farm families receive a commemorative sign, as well as a certificate signed by Minnesota State Fair and Minnesota Farm Bureau presidents and Governor Tim Walz. Public open house April 7 for Highway 22 Mankato to St. Peter project

MANKATO – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend an open house on Monday, April 7 at the Kasota Community Center, 200 North Webster Street in Kasota, to learn about the 2025-26 Highway 22 Mankato to St. Peter project. The construction open house will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m. MnDOT staff and the contractor will be available to provide more information about the project and answer questions.
