NU Garden Club host tour of Oak Hills garden

The New Ulm Garden Club will tour the Oak Hills courtyard garden next Wednesday. The tour begins 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. at Oak Hills. Following the tour there will be a question and answer session following by a club business meeting will follow, and then a social hour. The event is open to the public, and members and guests are asked, if they wish, to bring a snack/treat and your own beverage. Because of construction, there is no parking behind the gardens, but parking is available in the back parking lot. People can do drop offs in back, and then go to park.

SST to hold auditions for ‘Miracle on 34th Street’

State Street Theater is holding auditions for its upcoming holiday production of Miracle on 34th Street, for this December. Performances will run December 5–7, 2025. Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and again on Monday, September 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at State Street Theater.
