MANKATO -- Mankato East defeated New Ulm in a nonconference girls' hockey game on Monday.
Ashtyn Wiltscheck scored two goals for New Ulm. Molly Scheid and Elle Cooper also scored a goal for the Eagles.
New Ulm (11-7-1) hosts Fairmont on Tuesday.

Springfield 95, St. Mary's 58
SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield's Isaac Fink scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Tigers defeated Sleepy Eye St. Mary's on Monday in a Tomahawk Conference boys' basketball game.
Decker Scheffler scored 22 points and had eight assists and five rebounds and Mitchell Buerkle finished with 14 points. Mitchell Leonard had 6 points and six rebounds.
St. Mary's was led by Nick Labat's 13 points.
Springfield (12-2) hosts Cleveland on Tuesday and St. Mary's hosts Cedar Mountain on Tuesday.
Nicollet 70, St. Clair 65
ST. CLAIR -- Nicollet's Riley Hulke scored 31 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had seven assists as the Raiders defeated St. Clair in a Valley Conference boys' basketball game on Monday.
Josh Chadderdon had 12 points and five rebounds and Anthony Macias had 12 points and seven rebounds.
Nicollet hosts Truman/Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain on Thursday.
Cleveland 51, Madelia 49
CLEVELAND -- Despite holding a narrow 25-24 lead after the first half on Monday night, Madelia was unable to hold off Cleveland's comeback in the second half as the Clippers topped the Blackhawks 51-49 in Valley Conference boys' basketball action.
Madelia (4-10, 1-4) was led by Ja'Sean Glover and Kadin Benzel with 13 points each, while Kurt Lugo added nine rebounds.
Madelia hosts St. Clair on Monday.

REDWOOD FALLS -- Hailey Garmen scored 22 points as Redwood Valley defeated Sleepy Eye in a nonconference girls' basketball game on Monday.
Sydney Sommers also had 15 points for the Cardinals.
Madi Krueger and Brittney Dittbenner each scored 11 points for the Indians.
Redwood Valley (11-5) hosts Tracy-Milroy-Balaton on Tuesday and Sleepy Eye (5-10) is at Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Tuesday.
