NEW ULM -- Minnesota Valley Lutheran will honor members of its 1993-94 girls' basketball state tournament team at halftime of Saturdays' MVL/Nicollet girl's basketball game at MVL.
The game begins at 2 p.m.
The 93-94 season happened after 14 straight winning seasons and the 93-94 team compiled a 25-4 record with playoff victories over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, New Ulm Cathedral, Springfield, Belle Plaine, and St. James.
The team was coached by Dave Ross and the players on the team were Kristen Scharf, Tina Hopp, Heather Bernard, Lisa Gronholz, Alli Younge, Christy Schwictenberg, Lisa Westendorf, Kristi Wendler, Naci Melzer, Sarah Klockziem, Erin Enter, and Jenny Berg.
