MVL 68, St. Clair 62
ST. CLAIR -- Minnesota Valley Lutheran defeated St. Clair 68-62 on Friday in a nonconference boys' basketball game.
MVL was led by Jake Kettner, who had 34 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. He passed 1,000 career points as a result of his high-scoring night.
Jace Marotz also had 16 points and four rebounds for MVL.
St. Clair was led by Mitchell Weber, who had 32 points and nine rebounds and Grant Nagel, who had 12 points and 12 rebounds.
MVL plays at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart.
CM/C 68, Wabasso 66
WABASSO -- Cedar Mountain/Comfrey defeated Wabasso 68-66 on Friday in a Tomahawk Conference boys' basketball game.
CM/C was led by Lewis Pendleton, who had 22 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Also for CM/C, Trey Peterson-Juhl had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Eli Samuelson had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Wabasso's leading scorers were Tony Franta, who had 41 points and five rebounds, Cooper Taylor, who had 9 points and Myles Zeug, who had 8 points.
CM/C plays at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Sleepy Eye. Wabasso hosts New Ulm Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Adrian 46, RRC 43
LAMBERTON -- Adrian converted on eight 3-pointers on Friday as the Dragons edged Red Rock Central in a Red Rock Conference boys' basketball game.
Brady Rasmussen led RRC with 23 points, while Spencer Halland added 13 points with 10 rebounds.
RRC (11-5, 6-4) will play at Edgerton on Thursday.
GFW 72, SESM 62
SLEEPY EYE -- Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop downed Sleepy Eye St. Mary's on Friday in a Tomahawk Conference boys' basketball game.
Martin Ortiz scored 22 points for GFW and Zach Weber added 16 points.
Nick Labat had 19 points and Brandon Wait chipped in 17 points for St. Mary's.
St. Mary's (0-15, 0-10) will host Springfield (13-1, 9-0) on Tuesday. GFW (4-12, 3-7) will host Belle Plaine on Monday.

Cleveland 66
MANKATO -- Nicollet/Mankato Loyola defeated Cleveland 75-66 on Friday in a Valley Conference girls' basketball game.
Nicollet was led by Grace Dehen, who had 26 points and eight assists. Also for Nicollet, Brook Skrien had 17 points and seven rebounds, Sarah Haugum had 14 points and five rebounds and Megan Frutiger had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Cleveland's leading scorers were Caitlin Brink, who scored 17 points, Rachel Kunkel, who scored 16 points, Julia McCabe, who scored 11 points and Katelyn McCabe and Karna Ziebarth, who both scored 10 points.
Nicollet (9-7, 4-3) hosts Minnesota Valley Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Cathedral 45
SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield defeated New Ulm Cathedral on Friday in a Tomahawk Conference girls' basketball game.
Sydney Hauger paced Springfield with 25 points and Casandra Graff had 7 points.
Rose Hazuka and Lauryn Franta each scored 11 points for Cathedral.
Springfield (7-11, 3-8) will host Sleepy Eye St. Mary's (15-2, 9-2) on Monday. Cathedral 3-14, 2-9) will travel to Wabasso (12-3, 7-2) on Tuesday.
Sleepy Eye 84, BLHS 43

Sleepy Eye was led by Madi Heiderscheidt, who had 26 points, eight steals and five assists. Also for Sleepy Eye, Brianna Polesky had 16 points and seven rebounds, Hanna Himmelman had 10 points and Mya Ibberson and McKenzie Cselovszki both had 8 points.
BLHS was led by Sarah Kottke with 15 points and Rachel Dean with 11 points.
Sleepy Eye (14-4, 8-2) plays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Lutheran. BLHS (3-15, 0-10) hosts Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

MORGAN -- Wabasso had three players in double figures as the Rabbits defeated Cedar Mountain/Comfrey on Friday in a Tomahawk Conference girls basketball game.
Allison Fenger scored 14 points for Wabasso, Jenna Frank added 13 points and Madison Guetter had 12 points.
Taylor Rose scored 8 points and she had eight rebounds. Erica Bock had 8 points and six rebounds for CM/C.
Wabasso (13-3, 8-2) will host New Ulm Cathedral (3-14, 2-9) on Tuesday. CM/C (11-5, 6-5) will play at Granada Huntley/East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman on Monday.
