The 2023 Class C Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament begins this weekend, with Dassel and Litchfield opening the tournament with a pair of Friday night games.

Plato will take on St. Stephen first at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Dassel, while Dumont plays Kimball at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Litchfield.

From the area, Stark will open tournament play with an 11 a.m. game against Blue Earth in Delano. The New Ulm Brewers follow Stark with a 1:30 p.m. game against Waterville in Delano.

Courtland has a first-round bye and will play the winner of Union Hill-Maple Lake at a time to be determined the weekend of Aug. 26.
