GREENVILLE 28, MLC 0

GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville dominated every facet of the game on Saturday afternoon on its way to a 28-0 win against Martin Luther College in UMAC play.

Greenville scored on back-to-back possessions at the end of the first quarter and then again at the start of the second. Meanwhile the Knights struggled to get anything going, punting five times and turning the ball over on downs once in the first half. The Panthers scored their third touchdown with less than a minute left in the first half and took a 21-0 lead into the break.

MLC only got three offensive possessions in the second half, losing a possession because of a muffed punt that Greenville recovered. On their three drives, one ended in a punt, one with an interception and the final drive ended the game.
