Despite missing the first two weeks of the girls soccer season with a quad injury, Skoglund has been on her game since her return for the New Ulm Eagles. She scored three goals in a home win over Marshall last Thursday and added four more goals in a road win at Worthington this past Tuesday. She had three more goals in a win over Waseca this past Thursday.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: George's [Fine Steaks & Spirits in New Ulm].
Q: What is a hobby of yours
outside of sports?
A: I like to read a lot. [My favorite author is] Rebecca Yarros. She wrote "Fourth Wing," it's pretty popular.
Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: "10 Things I Hate About You," but I also really like "Gilmore Girls," I watch it every day.
Q: Who is your favorite soccer player?
A: Trinity Rodman, she plays for the Washington Spirit [of the National Women’s Soccer League].
Q: What is a dream vacation
spot of yours?
A: I really want to go to Italy.
