WINDOM -- Minnesota Valley Lutheran rolled Windom Area 35-0 in a Mid-South District, Brown Subdistrict football game on Friday.
Ben Riesgraf led the Chargers with 169 yards and three touchdowns rushing, while Chase Tweit had 10 yards and a score on the ground. Eli Schauland added a touchdown rushing. Defensively, Brecken Smith had an interception, and Emmanuel Edwards blocked a punt.
MVL (3-1, 3-0) hosts Jackson County Central on Friday.
SPRINGFIELD 21, DAWSON-BOYD 10
DAWSON -- Springfield defeated Dawson-Boyd 21-10 in a nondistrict football game on Friday.
Parker Kuehn was 12 for 24 with 251 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for Springfield, while Colten Sell had 15 carries for 73 yards. Braxton Brown had three receptions for 88 yards and two scores, while Ely Streich had three receptions for 84 yards. Tayte Hall added a 51-yard punt return for a touchdown, and Aiden Moriarty had a touchdown run. Defensively, Sell had an interception, Streich had a sack and Eli Trevino blocked a field goal.
Springfield (4-0) hosts BOLD next Friday.
