Blake Sexton had four receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown, while Eli Schauland had two touchdown passes, adding a 29-yard touchdown pass to Brecken Smith. Chase Tweit had 92 yards rushing and a touchdown. Defensively, Andrew Enter had two interceptions, while Nolan Henderson had three sacks.

JCC 53, SIBLEY EAST 12
ARLINGTON -- Jackson County Central defeated Sibley East 53-12 in a Mid-South District, Brown Subdistrict football game on Friday.
Jackson Bierstedt led the Wolverines with 72 yards on 21 rushes, while Brody Stinson had three rushes for 28 yards and a touchdown. Riley Bussler added a 30-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Sibley East (0-3) plays at Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial on Monday.

MAYER LUTHERAN 42, GFW 8
MAYER -- Mayer Lutheran defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 42-8 in a Mid-South District, Gold Subdistrict football game on Thursday.
Matthew Lee had the lone touchdown for the Firebirds, adding 96 yards on 13 rushes. Cason Gosewisch had 67 yards on 15 carries. Defensively, Lee had seven total tackles.
GFW (0-3) plays at Cleveland on Friday.
SATURDAY
ALBERT LEA 26, NEW ULM 22
ALBERT LEA -- Albert Lea topped New Ulm 26-22 in a Southeast District, Red Subdistrict football game on Saturday.
Owen Castleman had all three touchdowns for New Ulm, one on the ground and two passing. Eli Zobel had a 78-yard touchdown reception, while Isaiah Friese had a 7-yard touchdown reception.
New Ulm (2-1) hosts Belle Plaine on Friday.
SPRINGFIELD 67, TMB 6
SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield rolled Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 67-6 in a Mid-South District, Purple Subdistrict football game on Saturday.
Parker Kuehn was 11 for 17 with 307 yards and six touchdowns for the Tigers, while Carter Jackson had 15 carries for 108 yards and three touchdowns. Ely Striech had two receptions, both for touchdowns, and 100 yards, while Madden Lendt had 97 yards receiving with a touchdown. Braxton Brown had 87 yards receiving and a touchdown and Aiden Moriarty caught two balls for 23 yards and two touchdowns. Tayte Hall added a 75-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Defensively, Leo Hovland and Eli Trevino had nine tackles, while Strich and Trevino each had a sack. Brown had two interceptions, Thomas Beers and an interception and Mikey Colvin had a fumble recovery.
Springfield (3-0) plays at Dawson-Boyd on Friday.
