MADELIA -- Sleepy Eye St. Mary's swept Madelia 25-21, 25-21, 25-15 in a nonconference volleyball match on Tuesday.
Morgan Mathiowetz had nine kills, 17 digs and three aces for the Knights, while Audra Hoffmann had 10 kills, six digs and six aces. Olivia Schieffert had nine kills, while Brynne Ibberson had 24 set assists and six digs.
Addie Odegard had five kills and a block for Madelia, while Carissa Sorenson had four kills, nine digs and three aces. Grace Tatro had four kills, four digs and a block, and Avery Tatro had 12 assists and three digs. Emily Jacobs added 15 digs and an ace.
St. Mary's (3-0) plays at Wabasso on Thursday, while Madelia (1-2) travels to Trimont to play Martin County West on Thursday.

SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield swept Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda 25-18, 25-16, 25-23 in a nonconference volleyball match on Tuesday.
Olivia Simonson led the Tigers with eight kills, four aces and three digs, while Kendall Krueger had seven kills, nine digs and five aces. Sophie Mude had 15 set assist, five digs and three aces.
Springfield (1-1) plays at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on Tuesday.
LOYOLA 3, GFW 0
MANKATO -- Mankato Loyola swept Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 26-24, 25-16, 25-19 in a nonconference volleyball match on Tuesday.
Kora Schwarzrock and Ella Nachreienr each had seven kills for the Firebirds, with Nachreiner adding three blocks and Schwarzrock totaling four aces. Natalie Ahlbrecht had 12 set assists and Maren Kemkes had 11 set assists, while Kinley Bruns had 14 digs and Chloe Henrichs had 12 digs.
GFW (1-1) hosts Sleepy Eye next Tuesday.
BOYS SOCCER
NEW ULM 7, WASECA 1
WASECA -- New Ulm rolled Waseca 7-1 in a Big South Conference boys soccer match on Tuesday.
Levi Johnson had four goals and an assist in the game, while Methodious Amoah had two goals and an assist. Logan Goblirsch had a goal and two assists, and Colten Evers added an assist. Brevinn Vandermouse had four saves in the match.
New Ulm (6-0, 1-0) hosts Tri-City United on Thursday.

WORTHINGTON 5, NEW ULM 2
WORTHINGTON -- Worthington topped New Ulm 5-2 in a Big South Conference girls tennis match on Tuesday.
Natalie Fischer defeated Kah Blu Moo 1-6, 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for New Ulm, while Avah Kruse and Edith Albnrecth downed Maria Shwe and Nallely Escalante 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
New Ulm (0-7) hosts Marshall on Thursday.
