WABASSO — The Milroy Yankees defeated the Wabasso Jaxx 9-3 in a Corn Belt League amateur baseball game on Sunday.

CJ Theis took the loss for Wabasso, striking out one and allowing five runs, one earned, on three hits in six innings. At the plate, Samuel Guetter was 2 for 3, while Carter Guetter was 2 for 5 with two RBIs. Maxim Dillon added a hit and an RBI.

Wabasso (1-9) plays at Marshall on Wednesday.
