MARSHALL — The Marshall Athletics rolled to a 14-4 win over the Wabasso Jaxx on Wednesday night in a Corn Belt League amateur baseball game.

Charlie Jacobson and Tyler Wichmann each went 3 for 4 with an RBI apiece for Marshall, while Andrew Stelter had a solo homer. Liam Kruse got the win in six innings, allowing eight hits and three walks for four runs, three earned, while striking out eight.

Samuel Guetter was 2 for 3 to lead the Jaxx at the plate, while Carter Guetter had a double and an RBI. CJ Theis took the loss in five innings, allowing nine hits and five walks for seven earned runs while striking out three.

Wabasso fell to 1-10 in the CBL with the loss, while Marshall moved to 2-4.
