Jaxx fall to Kilowatts
GRANITE FALLS — The Wabasso Jaxx were shut out by the Granite Falls Kilowatts on Wednesday in a Corn Belt League amateur baseball game.
The game ended in seven innings due to the 10-run lead rule.
Despite the loss, Carter Guetter went 3 for 3 for the Jaxx, while Deagen Maurice was 2 for 3. Maxim Dillon was 1 for 3 also for Wabasso.
Brooks Baune took the loss for the Jaxx in one inning, allowing three hits and five walks for eight earned runs.
The Kilowatts were led by Phil Johnson, who was 2 for 2 with a double, while Bennett Knapper was 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs. Bryce Sneller earned the win in all seven innings, allowing six hits and no walks while striking out five.
