Ethan Schmidt, 13-year-old of New Ulm, shot 75 at Oakdale Golf Club last Thursday to take third place in the first PGA Minnesota Junior Golf tournament of the summer season. Schmidt finished his first varsity year of golf recently with the New Ulm Eagles.

Fellow New Ulm varsity golfer Asher Wendinger played in this tournament also and took eighth.
