The Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association released its Class A All-State and All-Section selections, with several area athletes represented.

Class A State Champion Madelia had two players make the All-State team in seniors Tate Becker and Tony Zaleski, as did Sleepy Eye with senior Kayden Klein and junior Carson Uecker. Junior Alex Portner represented New Ulm Cathedral, while sophomore Madden Lendt was selected from Springfield.

All the All-State players were also selected to the Section 2A All-Section Team. Along with them, Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Landry Folkens, a sophmore, Merrick Mathiowetz, a junior, and Tyler Mathiowetz, a senior made the All-Section Team, as did Cathedral junior Eli Anderson and senior Elijah Rieser. Sleepy Eye Public added sophomores Karter Haala and Keeyan Netzke, while Madelia added juniors Evan Coil, Brayden Grev and Jeremiah Garza.
