NEW ULM — New Ulm Junior Legion swept Waconia 13-2 and 17-7, both in five innings, in a junior legion baseball game on Monday.

Miles Castleman earned the win in Game 1 for New Ulm, striking out thee in one inning of work. Ryler Collins pitched four innings, allowing one earned run on one hit with five strikeouts. At the plate, Trevon Thordson was 2 for 2 with an RBI, while Owen Castleman had a hit, four RBIs and two runs scored. Noah Gode had a hit and three RBIs.

Miles Castleman also earned the win in Game 2, striking out one and allowing one run and two hits in two innings. At the plate, Collins was 4 for 5 with three RBIs and two runs scored, while Miles Castleman was 2 for 3 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Cole Voges added two hits and two RBIs.

New Ulm (2-0) plays at Sleepy Eye on Tuesday.
