ST. PETER — New Ulm’s Griffin Lehne won his first two matches before falling in the semifinals of the Section 2AA Boys Tennis Individual Tournament on Friday, as did Dan Brownfield and Charlie Weidman in the Section 2AA Boys Tennis Doubles Tournament.

Lehne defeated New Prague’s Max Streefland 6-3, 6-1 before defeating Shakopee’s Arnav Anandkumar 6-4, 6-1. Lehne fell 6-1, 6-0 to Prior Lake’s Jack Williams.

Also in the singles tournament, Isaac Dittmer fell 6-2, 6-0 to Prior Lake’s Sam Williams in the first round.

In the doubles tournament, Weidman and Brownfield defeated Shakopee’s Henry Terhorst and Kaveen Thilikarathna 6-2, 6-1 in the first round and New Prague’s Kane Johnson and Daniel Little 6-4, 6-1. The pair fell to Prior Lake’s Tarun Gopi and August Adams 6-3, 6-3.
