MLC baseball picks up 3 All-UMAC selections

ST. PAUL — The 2026 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference baseball awards were released on Wednesday, and the Martin Luther College Knights had three players selected with All-Conference recognition.
Pitcher Aidan Berg was named First Team All-UMAC after a sophomore season in which Berg commanded a 3.25 ERA across 10 starts and 61 innings pitched. Berg finished second in the UMAC in strikeouts (79) and broke the MLC single-season record in strikeouts with that amount.
Parker Winghart was voted Honorable Mention after receiving First Team honors as a freshman and sophomore. The shortstop led MLC in all major hitting categories, including hits (35), runs (23), home runs (5), and RBI (26). After finishing up his junior season with the Knights, Winghart is in the top five for numerous single-season and career records, including the following:

Jackson Anderson was the third member of the MLC baseball team and also earned Honorable Mention All-UMAC. Anderson broke the MLC single-season record in stolen bases (16) and finished third in the conference. Anderson was also third on MLC in runs (22) and T-2nd in hits (30). In three seasons, Anderson has stolen 28 bases, which is T-2nd in the MLC career records.
MLC also won the Team Sportsmanship Award in the UMAC, while Connor Heckendorf was the MLC individual sportsmanship winner.
